                                     A leading provider of IoT connected-living and cybersecurity solutions, offers a complete home management user experience using the most advanced connected technologies is looking for a Business Development Manager.
What are we looking for?
A Business Development Manager to own and manage strategic alliances at a company level in the security services domain.
In this role, you will establish and manage relationships with partners supporting Essence's strategic growth goals, as a leading market player delivering security & safety solutions. 
The role requires working collaboratively across functions such as sales, product management, marketing, CTO, in promoting existing as well as generating new partnerships.
This position will report to the Vice President of Global Sales.
What you'll do:
• Lead collaborations with alliance partners to build, market, and sell security and cloud joint solutions and services to customers in different markets and verticals
•Identify organizations with complementary products offerings, develop and drive strategies for co-selling our products and services through valued partners channels and programs
•Build and present a strategic rationale and business case for partnering
•Drive the formation of partnerships and manage alliances to ensure they meet stated company strategic and operational level objectives
•Work with the sales teams to drive joint sales plays with alliance partners
•Drive collaborations with technology and engineering teams at Essence and partners' organization to expand our customer offering base and solution integrations
 
Requirements:
•Minimum of five years of experience in sales roles, with two years in business development/alliance management
•Domain background in Smart Security - required
•Domain background in consumer security – an advantage
•Background working with cloud service providers – an advantage
•30% travel time (post-Covid) and flexibility to work with a global network of partners
Preferred location: Israel
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
•An ability to work well in a team and with other functional stakeholders, and based on structured goals
•An ability to influence and lead cross-business unit and cross-functional teams to manage internal resources (lead by example)
•Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage at senior levels in partner organizations as well as senior leadership within the company
•Strategic mindset ability to plan for different scenario and to forecast
•Well-organized and strong execution skills (e.g., internal process, partner plans, business cases, etc.)
